The digital revolution moving homes
Make no mistake: change is coming to our industry.
In fact, it’s already here…
Digital influencers are transforming the estate agency & real estate sectors – utilising powerful social media platforms like Instagram & YouTube to sell homes: replacing traditional, formal, dull, static, slow & ineffective listings with reactive, fun, slick, engaging & often deeply personal content: making that all important human connection.
And it’s working.
Some use amazing videographers & drone operators to manufacture movie quality showcases for their homes. Others use stories & talking to camera & the intimacy of Instagram to talk openly about listings. Some give away amazing industry tips & nuggets, sneak previews & useful information. A few simply entertain you, or make you laugh. And there are even a handful who talk as much about guinea fowl, as they do stately homes. It’s an eclectic, exciting & engaging cocktail.
Right now, property & buying & selling houses is such an exciting industry to be part of – change is happening fast, with multiple property portals pushing & investing heavily in digital innovation. Rightmove (& some major high street banks) just invested over £10,000,000 in Coadjute – an almost impossible to spell, or remember brand name with brilliant innovation on its mind: selling “solutions designed to empower estate agents to deliver an even better service to their clients.”
Keep a close eye on this & expect it to line up with possible legislative changes in the sector. We are so on board…
The end result could be faster, slicker, easier, more transparent house purchases – which is great news for everyone.
Fresh-faced & digitally-based app driven estate agencies have arrived, like Flyp – offering vendors the ability to sell with multiple agents, with ease, which is changing the way property is listed.
Modern, digitally-driven & based estate agencies like Ingio & The Modern House are stealing yards over the traditionalists every week.
There is a genuine evolution (maybe even a full on revolution) happening & coming in the selling, purchase & conveyance process – putting enormous pressure on dusty old estate agencies to diversify what they do. But can they even cope or keep up?
And with the rise in popularity of utilising property buying agents – to give buyers the edge they have missed out on for so long, like Flint Homes do – the future is bright, for all those ready, willing & able to move with the times, embrace the digital revolution & buy & sell homes in a faster, easier, simpler C21st way.
Natural selection & the survival of the fittest is in play. The hunt is on.
Here’s three top predators/property influencers to check out & follow on instagram – to show you how it’s done….
Tanya Baker is huge, with over 120,000 followers & is a genuine content creator & influencer who is shaking it up as one of the best modern agents in London, quietly, successfully, gently selling uber desirable homes across the city, in her own unique way. Meanwhile, here in sleepy Norfolk, Savills agent & ex-jockey Ben Rivett is waking folk up with his 17,000 followers: offering up smart content with his open, refreshingly honest & highly knowledgeable content, showcasing some of Norfolk’s nicest properties for sale. His insta has a very loyal following of highly active, hungry buyers & he is shifting brick & flint fast up here.
One of the things that sets Flint Homes apart from the rest of the UK’s buying agents is our background.
We have run a digital marketing agency since 2001 – helping international & national businesses & brands win customers & raising awareness of what they do.
We have always been early adopters of digital technology & advocates of change – & we have been working in social media since it started. It’s in our DNA.
Our fresh approach how to be a property finder here in Norfolk & Suffolk is attracting a new breed of buyer – people who demand more from their property purchase & want the very best. And nothing stuffy.
Change is here… embrace it.
It all starts with a DM.
