It’s nice to be nice
We have a very dear old Norfolk friend who’s lived here all his life & his much-loved, wise father had a typically simple, quiet but deeply resonating Norfolk saying we rather like: “It’s nice to be nice.”
Simple right?
It is nice for you to be nice, for others to be nice to you & for the whole positive feedback loop to keep spinning positively.
But of course it’s not always easy to do this.
Life is full of challenges.
Especially when buying a house… which is well know to be one of the stressful triggers in people’s lives (especially if it’s one as complicated as the one below…!).
This week, we have had a spate of unexpectedly rude people – in the most incongruous & unexpected of places.
People who seem to have forgotten their manners, lost their cool & who made a decision to not be nice.
Needless to say, we rose above it (& it was NOT our clients, all of whom are a delight).
In our job as buying agents, positivity, passion & politeness count for a lot.
We bring good vibes to the table & to our clients’ lives.
Bonnie is the most relentlessly positive person I have ever met. She will see the good in anyone, the silver lining on anything. And I have always admired her & loved her for that. It is a great attitude to life.
And I will always bring the positive energy to a situation, injecting some PMA, can do attitude into our lives & so to those of our clients, when they need it.
It’s a Flint Homes USP.
Like our good friend says, it’s nice to be nice, right?
It costs nothing, but is priceless…
